The Affolter Group, a leader in high-precision gear hobbing solutions, is boosting customer productivity with its in-house software development. The Swiss company’s specialists customize software for their 8-axis CNC gear hobbing machine, the AF160, the most flexible machine in the market. This in-house capability allows Affolter to respond quickly to customer needs, offering tailored solutions such as skiving, deburring integration, and part orientation.

The AF160 features a user-friendly 19-inch HMI touchscreen and the Pegasus CNC Control system, ensuring easy operation and IoT integration. This versatile machine can handle various gear types and configurations, making it a valuable asset for precision manufacturers.

Affolter Group and its U.S. representative, Rotec Tools, will showcase the AF160 at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago from September 9-14, 2024, at Booth 237223 in the North Building, Level 3.
