FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The OMAHA PRODUCTS SHOW for Business & Industry is considered one of the largest and diversified Business Expos in the Midwest. The PRODUCTS SHOW is both a marketplace and technical center, where suppliers and vendors will be able to display their products, materials, and services for area users and buyers. Robert P. "Bob" Mancuso, Jr., CFO of Mid-America Expositions, Inc., the Show Producer, said the 27th Biennial Show, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Centurylink Center Omaha in Omaha, is the largest Industrial Expo in the State of Nebraska for 2017. The OMAHA PRODUCTS SHOW will be held in Omaha at the Centurylink Center Omaha with over 200,000 square feet of indoor show space with over 4,500 parking stalls available for visitors attending the Expo. There is an all new format. All in one day to make efficient use of exhibitor and attendee time. There will be free admission to the Expo. The diversity of the products and services that will be on display at the Centurylink Center Omaha, as well as the convenience of finding vendors in one place, makes the OMAHA PRODUCTS SHOW a great showcase for Midwest industry, alternating with the NEBRASKA PRODUCTS SHOW on odd numbered years. The late Bob Mancuso, Sr, who in 1965, originated the OMAHA PRODUCTS SHOW, took on the creation of the Lincoln Show in 1980, and lined up the same sponsor - the Institute of Supply Management – Nebraska (formerly the National Association of Purchasing Management –Nebraska), with the addition of the Institute of Supply Management – Nebraska chapter. "This sponsorship brings in all Nebraska customers as well as attendees from a regional marketing area around Nebraska." Bob Mancuso, Jr., said, "The Products Show is ideal for the user, the buyer, and the seller. It is a win-win-win situation for all involved in being a part of the Show. The EXPO gives attendees the opportunity to see the latest in creativity and technology. It affords the opportunity for those coming to the Show to see hundreds of products and services that can be used in day to day operations, and to see those products and services in one location and under one roof. Visitors will see demonstrations, collect literature, compare prices, and become acquainted with new suppliers all at one time." New at the Products Show is the Technology Pavilion and the Safety, Health, and Wellness Pavilions. These Pavilion’s aim to showcase the improvements and new products in those areas. The Products Show Summit will highlight seminars on business topics as well as industrial sessions. The Institute of Supply Management will hold their monthly meeting at the Show. Ray Turek, President of the Nebraska Association, said, “Our members look forward to the Products Show and we will be holding our monthly meeting at the Show.” They have over 300 members and are the purchasers and buyers for many of the top companies in Nebraska. They will be at the show, have a booth area at the show, and host the Luncheon. They also help in the judging of the Outstanding Booths and Displays. Also - Join the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and the Manufacturing Council at the Luncheon. Nebraska Chamber President Barry Kennedy, Tony Urban from McGladrey, and many other key speakers will be at the show. The Nebraska Chamber Manufacturing Council also meets that day. The Opening Breakfast kicks off the morning at 8:00 AM. The breakfast is hosted by the SME Society - Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Bob Mancuso, Jr. said, “The biennial Omaha Products Show this year presents a hands on educational opportunity for company personnel involved in the procurement process, including Management, Purchasing, Architects, Contractors, Engineering, Production, Construction, Packaging, Quality Control, Government, Trucking, Transportation, Maintenance, as well as Office Personnel, for them to condense a learning process of weeks and sometimes even months, into a short span. Opportunities to view new products and services, visit with current and prospective suppliers, and set future appointments are just a few of the benefits which the show offers. The Omaha Products Show is the place to be on Oct 12, 2017!” The Products Show officially opens at 8:00 am with the Opening Breakfast on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
