Franklin Precision Castings Unveils New High-Pressure Ceramic Shell Removal System

Franklin Precision Castings has announced the acquisition of a state-of-the-art 20,000 PSI water blasting system from Triplex Systems, Inc. This advanced technology combines both automatic and manual operations for efficient ceramic shell removal, significantly enhancing quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.

“The Triplex water blasting system has reduced our cycle times by 50 to 75%, a remarkable improvement,” said Mark Johnson, cleaning room supervisor at Franklin Precision Castings.

The Model TRX-1250CAM allows operators to seamlessly switch between automatic and manual cleaning via a user-friendly touch screen, powered by a single high-pressure pump. Its built-in drag conveyor safely unloads broken ceramic shell, mitigating the risk of back injuries.
