Hamilton Broadens Nylast Wheel Line to Serve Heavy-Duty Industries

Hamilton Caster has announced the expansion of its Nylast wheel line, now available in sizes up to 24 inches in diameter. This upgrade triples the load capacity of the series, said to enhance performance for heavy manufacturing industries. Hamilton Nylast wheels are crafted from solid-cast high-performance nylon.

Formulated with finely divided particles of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), Hamilton’s Nylast material enhances load-bearing capability while maintaining nylon's inherent impact resistance.

With larger Nylast wheel diameters, Hamilton says they are equipped to meet the evolving needs of heavy manufacturing industries such as aerospace, defense, shipbuilding and construction. The expanded Nylast wheel sizes enable Hamilton’s super duty and extreme duty caster series to handle heavier loads and perform in demanding industrial environments.

Nylast wheels offer some advantages over forged steel and polyurethane, including their ability to withstand higher load capacities without damaging floors. Their lighter weight reduces the overall PSI on the floor's contact area, and they also boast higher chemical and moisture resistance.
