IMTS 2024 to Spotlight Industry Leaders and Technological Innovations

The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024, held from Sept. 9-14 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, will showcase cutting-edge advancements and key insights from leading figures in technology and manufacturing.

The event will feature executive discussions and presentations on topics including AI transformation, innovation, digital transformation, and defense manufacturing. Notable speakers on the IMTS+ Main Stage include leaders from BlueForge Alliance, Google Cloud, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Microsoft, Siemens US, and RFK Racing, among others.

IMTS 2024 is set to be the largest manufacturing technology event in the Western Hemisphere, spanning over 1.2 million square feet with more than 1,600 exhibitors and an anticipated audience of over 100,000. Attendees will have opportunities to engage with industry visionaries, explore groundbreaking technologies, and network across various stages and attractions.

Highlights include:

·         Opening Session: Doug Woods (AMT), Kathleen Mitford (Microsoft), and Peter Eelman (AMT) will kick off the event with insights on technological advancements and AI’s impact on manufacturing.

·         AI-powered Operations: Praveen Rao from Google Cloud will discuss AI’s role in enhancing productivity.

·         Innovation Mindset: Paul Rogers of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will address the importance of embracing innovation.

·         Technology Democratization: Siemens USA’s Barbara Humpton and Tim Shinbara will explore merging digital and real-world technologies.

·         Defense Insights: Rear Admiral Todd S. Weeks will highlight the significance of America’s submarine fleet and industry collaboration.

·         Manufacturing USA: Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the network’s contributions to industrial competitiveness will be discussed.

·         Convergent Manufacturing: Oak Ridge National Laboratory will present its new manufacturing platform beneficial to small and medium enterprises.

Additional stages include the IMTS+ AfterWords Stage, Formnext Stage and SPS – Smart Production Solutions Stage, each featuring diverse presentations and interactive sessions.
