Kistler Introduces Industrial Charge Amplifier With Ethernet Connectivity

Kistler has unveiled the ICAM-B, a new all-purpose charge amplifier designed to cater to a wide array of applications, thanks to its innovative blend of analog signal routing and integrated digital data transmission. This device is tailored for seamless integration with piezoelectric sensors, offering users an intuitive web interface, extensive signal conditioning features and diverse IIoT connectivity options.

In today's manufacturing landscape, sensor-based production control and monitoring are paramount. Integrated piezoelectric (PE) sensors bring numerous benefits to industrial manufacturers across various sectors, ensuring product quality, reducing downtime and facilitating process optimization through data-driven decision-making.

To harness the advantages of PE sensors effectively, robust measuring chains with suitable charge amplifiers are essential. The ICAM-B from Kistler not only meets these requirements but also goes beyond, leveraging a unique amalgamation of analog and digital signal processing capabilities.

Featuring multiple channels, high bandwidth, and adjustable measuring ranges, the ICAM-B caters to diverse industrial needs, from micromechanics to semiconductor manufacturing. Ensuring full backwards compatibility, the ICAM-B offers voltage and current output variants, with an optional RS232 interface for easy replacement of existing devices. Additionally, the device is available with different sensor connector types, catering to diverse environmental requirements.
