NN, Inc. Announces Jeff Tritapoe as Vice President of Global Operations

NN, Inc. has appointed Jeff Tritapoe as its new Vice President of Global Operations, effective April 10, 2024. With over three decades of experience in manufacturing, operations, and business transformation, Tritapoe brings a wealth of expertise to NN, Inc., (https://www.nninc.com/) a global diversified industrial company specializing in high-precision components and assemblies. In his role, Tritapoe will lead NN's operations team spanning six countries, comprising approximately 3,000 employees. He will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation, enhancing margins, and fostering operational excellence within the company. Reporting directly to NN's Chief Operating Officer, Tim French, Tritapoe's extensive background in industrial, vehicle, and medical manufacturing markets positions him well to accelerate NN's ongoing transformation initiatives. “Jeff is a proven operational leader with decades of experience in the industrial, vehicle and medical manufacturing markets. His global experience driving productivity, optimizing footprints, launching new programs, and improving quality in highly technical manufacturing environments will add a key element to the NN team and accelerate our ongoing transformation plan – both cost and growth,” said French. “Harold Bevis and I have both worked with Jeff in similar situations in the past and are excited to bring him to the NN team. Jeff is an expert in driving operational excellence as well as JIT and Pull manufacturing systems, and medical and automotive PPAP processes. He is a footprint expert and has closed high-cost plants and built plants in low-cost countries including Mexico and China. Jeff will be instrumental in NN’s future success.” With a background rooted in South Carolina, Tritapoe is known for his results-driven approach and ability to streamline operations while fostering growth. He has held various senior operational roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Operations, across both public and private entities. Tritapoe's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is also well-versed in lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma processes, holding Black Belt and DFSS certifications. “I am excited to be joining the NN team and getting back together with Harold and Tim.
